As promised we've finally posted some pics from our recent vacation. We were so thankful to be able to take some time away from the crazy life and enjoy the "spirit of aloha." We stayed just off of Waikiki Beach so of course we hit all of the favorite tourist traps in Waikiki as well as the touristy stuff elsewhere on Oahu -- Pearl Harbor, the Flea Market, Polynesian Cultural Center, Dole Pineapple Plantation, famous Hawaii golf, etc. The highlight of our trip though (besides chillin' on the beach) was our visit to Laie and our time in the beautiful temple there. We drove the entire island just taking in the scenery. We promised ourselves we'd return soon & often!
Aaron had a GREAT time snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. He's such a fish!

Amy loved watching the cool island fish in the bay. It was amazing to see such variety in the wildlife. They looked like fish you see in a movie. This one was HUGE! I don't think the picture really did it justice.

Here's us at the Polynesian Cultural Center luau. Aaron tried poke (raw fish!) and really liked it. He even ate poi which is totally disgusting but he took one for the team.

Of course, like everywhere we go, Aaron found a few pawn shops & Amy found a shoe sale. We shopped a TON!!!!!
