Well the long awaited day finally arrived ... the day we saw The Rolling Stones live in concert and it ROCKED SO HARD! Yeah, you heard us, we actually used that lame phrase! That's how excited we were! When we bought our tickets way back in April we were just hoping nobody in the group would die before they got to SLC. They're super old but they can still give you your moneys worth.

If you're into people watching this was the place to be. There were all sorts of interesting characters. We hope we're still as spunky as them when we hit 60 ... just clean & sober.
Aaron was rockin' out to "Sympathy for the Devil" Mick put on the long coat & the hat the whole thing. I don't think I could pick a favorite song if I had to. I was just totally thrilled to see Mick in all of his 60-something year old glory doing his strut and pout and the whole thing better than anyone half his age. Many of you know about my strange adoration for the guy. And yes, I'm very aware that he's not attractive in the conventional sense ... okay I'll even admit he's technically pretty gross. But c'mon ... just humor me.

Brittiny got to know the Stones really well this past month working in hospice care. I wish we could've attended the concert.... ;)
ps - Met a guy with MORE watches than A-ron Butterfly! He also bought a $3,500 watch winder! Never thought I'd see the day...
..thanks for the pity phone call during the concert. I can attest to the noise level!! Yep, a life of drugs, partying and excess could leave all of us with the Stones' strange appeal.
But, hey Amy, tell us how you feel about, say PETE ROSE?
To think, your g-mas are only 10 years older than Mick....you just can;t inagine Verla or Ruth rocking like that, although Nano DOES have that new knee....
